PowerGlide named Good Housekeeping Institute Approved Hard Floor Cleaner

AirCraft PowerGlide has been awarded Good Housekeeping Institute Approved status after impressing testers with its fast, effortless cleaning performance. Designed for wood, laminate, LVT, vinyl and tiled floors, PowerGlide cleans, polishes and dries hard floors in one glide.

Colour us delighted. Since we launched our PowerGlide cordless hard floor cleaner, our mailbag has been bursting with positive feedback from customers like you 🖤

And that’s not all. PowerGlide has also won glowing reviews from the likes of Instagram’s Lynsey ‘Queen of Clean’ and the team from ITV’s This Morning.

You can add another big-name endorsement to that list. Because this month, PowerGlide became an official Good Housekeeping Institute Approved product.

Good Housekeeping’s Katie Mortram put PowerGlide through its paces and found plenty to love. Let’s see what she had to say.

The Good Housekeeping review: ‘Fast and easy to use’

Right off the bat, Katie was full of praise for PowerGlide.

‘Fast and easy to use’, she wrote, ‘the AirCraft PowerGlide is an impressive multipurpose floor cleaner.’

She was also impressed with its speed and simplicity. PowerGlide cleans without heat, so – as Katie says – you can ‘charge it up, fill the reservoir with water or cleaning solution, switch on, then go!’

PowerGlide had made a great first impression. But how did its cleaning performance stand up to Good Housekeeping’s tests?

Katie’s verdict: it nailed it. PowerGlide ‘cleaned all of our stains and dirt effortlessly’, she raved, adding that ‘it was also much faster than using a mop’.

And best of all, there was no mess to clean up afterwards. ‘After use, hard floors dried in a matter of seconds, which means you don’t have to hang around waiting.’

What does this mean for PowerGlide?

In the homeware industry, getting Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) approval is a bit like winning an Oscar or bagging a Michelin star.

It’s a big deal. GHI was founded in 1924 and remains one of the UK’s most trusted names in consumer advocacy and product reviews.

GHI doesn’t hand out awards willy-nilly. To win GHI Approval, products must pass several Quality Assessment tests, conducted by a team of experts at the GHI HQ in London.

It’s all very rigorous and scientific. But it all boils down to a simple fact: if you see the GHI Approved seal on a product, you can trust that it does the job and does it well.

Right now, around 200 products have earned the GHI Approved seal. It’s an exclusive club – and we couldn’t be happier to be part of it.

Want to see what all the fuss is about? PowerGlide is available direct from AirCraft or from trusted online retailers like Currys. (Tell them Good Housekeeping sent you).
